In January, my two colleagues Ludo and Yaya come to visit us for 6 days of popping and jigging, and we'll be enjoying fine weather throughout. On the fishing front, it will take all our anglers' perseverance to pull through. The fishing was varied, with lots of jacks and small roosterfish at playa grande on Cebaco and a nice Cubera caught on stickait gunz by Ludo on the same beach.
One day followed another, until our national Ludo got down to jigging a magnificent Broomtail Grouper weighing around twenty kilos!
To sum up, no trophy fish but plenty of diversity, a successful fishing trip in good spirits and good fun, to be repeated any time!
